  • Sales volume might be up but NO one is talking about how the sale dollar volume is 30%lower. Looking at it that way it is easy to see why tax revenue is lower and getting lower. Who is writing mortgages now? A lot of the sales are cash. Banks are getting the loans off the books at any cost.
